THE VOTES HAVE been cast and counted, with no hanging chads demanding a recount.

As we enter the holiday season, there will be more forms of live music to choose from, so read on, find your muse and enjoy!

Port Angeles

■ Today at Castaways Restaurant and Night Club, 1213 Marine Drive, sing and pick country-style at the jam hosted by High Country from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

On Saturday from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., Chantilly Lace will provide classic rock — with class!

■ Friday at the Junction Roadhouse, 242701 U.S. Highway 101, is a big night as Jason, Paul and Kim of Deadwood Revival celebrate Kim’s birthday from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Cover.

On Saturday, Classic Case returns from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

■ Today at Bella Italia, 118 E. First St., R and B (Rachael and Barry) perform classic rock and Motown from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

■ Justin Scott Rivet goes solo Mondays from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Bar N9ne, 229 W. First St.

■ On Saturday at Elliott’s Antique Emporium, 135 E. First St., “Hawaii Amor,” solo by Roma, on ukulele, singing songs of Hawaii from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

■ On Friday, Les Wamboldt and Olde Tyme Country will play at the Fairmount Restaurant, 1127 W. U.S. Highway 101, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

On Sunday, join the country jam from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

On Wednesday, Dave and Rosalie Secord and the Luck of the Draw Band play oldtime music with musical guest Crescent Blue of Forks from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

■ On Monday, Charlie Ferris does his shtick at the Bushwhacker Restaurant, 1527 E. First St., from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

■ Every Tuesday at the Port Angeles Senior Center, 328 E. Seventh St., the Port Angeles Senior Swingers present Wally’s Boys playing ballroom dance favorites from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. $5 cover; first-timers free.

■ At Dupuis Restaurant, 256861 U.S. Highway 101, Bob and Dave play blues Wednesday through Saturday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Sequim and Blyn

■ On Friday, the Oasis Bar and Grill, 301 E. Washington St., celebrates its anniversary with music by Denny Secord Jr. and a Jeff Tocher painting unveiling at 5:30 p.m.

On Saturday, put on your dancing shoes for the Olympic Express Big Band at 5:30 p.m.

On Wednesday, Final Approach lands with the hits of the 1950s, ’60s and ’70s at 5:30 p.m.

■ It’s “All the Buzz” Wednesdays at the Sequim Senior Activity Center, 921 E. Hammond St., with Kelly and Victor hosting the open mic from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

■ On Friday at Stymie’s Bar and Grill at Cedars at Dungeness, 1965 Woodcock Road, Tom and Gary perform from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

■ On Friday at Club Seven Lounge at 7 Cedars Casino, Blyn, dance to the Billy Shew Band from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

On Saturday, Whiskey River pays homage to Lynyrd Skynyrd and other classic rock bands from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

On Sunday, Denny Secord Jr. and Haywire with Amanda Bacon start things off from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., then back up Ted Vigil at 8 p.m.

Port Townsend

■ Today at the Upstage, 923 Washington St., the Dudley Taft Band and John Kessler of National Public Radio’s “All Blues” will play in a live music fundraiser at 7:30 p.m. $15 cover.

On Friday, The Delta Rays play at 7:30 p.m. $8 cover.

On Saturday, listen to Jazz Off the Beaten Track with Jim Oliver (guitar), Owen Fairbank (oboe, English horn), Bob Francis (piano), John MacElwee (bass) and Tim Sheffel (drums) from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Cover.

■ On Saturday at Castle Key, Seventh and Sheridan streets, Seattle jazz vocalist Eugenie Jones performs with her trio from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. $8 cover.

■ Steve Grandinetti plays guitar at the Owl Sprit Cafe, 218 Polk St., today from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

■ Today, classical guitarist Trevor Hanson plays at Ichikawa Japanese Cuisine, 1208 Water St., from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

■ Every Monday, Trevor Hanson plays at Alchemy, 842 Washington St., from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

■ Steve Grandinetti plays and sings at the Northwest Maritime Center Cafe, Port Townsend, on Thursdays and Fridays from noon till 2 p.m.

High notes

■ The Second Saturday Community Dance at the Port Townsend Quimper Grange, 1219 Corona St., will feature music by Jeanie Murphy, Scott Marckx and Jim Ketterman, with Dianne Carreri calling for the 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. dance. $6, adults; $3, younger than 18.

■ On Wednesday at the Port Angeles Senior Center, 328 E. Seventh St., Perpetual e-Motion of Maine plays in an extra contra dance, with legendary George Marshall of New England calling, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Adults, $10; seniors and teens, $8; kids, $5.

■ On Friday, the Port Townsend Palooza benefit at Quimper Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 2333 San Juan Ave., Port Townsend, will feature music by Simon Lynge, George Rezendes, Jenna Marit, Aimee Ringle, Sue Logg and Ahmad and Kreea Baabahar, with proceeds to benefit Blue Heron Middle School’s PTA.

Doors open at 6:45 p.m., with music at 7 p.m. $20, adults; $10, students.

■ Skolkis, a lively new band from Seattle, will play Sunday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Sons of Norway Skandia Hall, 131 W. Fifth St., Port Angeles.

Seating is available for those who want to listen, and a dance lesson will be given at 6:30 p.m. for those wishing to dance.

A donation of $4 is suggested.
