KEY CENTER — A 3.5-magnitude earthquake shook the upper Key Peninsula northwest of Tacoma early this morning.

Our news partner, KOMO-TV (www.komotv.com) reported there were no damage reports from the quake that hit just before 2 a.m. about 17 miles west-northwest of Tacoma.

Local residents say the quake shook their homes for about 10 to 15 seconds.
