PORT ANGELES — The Shelter Providers Network of Clallam County will hear about the Serenity Square Services Depot planned in Sequim when the group meets Wednesday.

The network will meet at 9 a.m. in the downstairs fellowship hall at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 301 E. Lopez Ave.

Serenity Square Services Depot will fill the vacant office building at 583 W. Washington St. in Sequim next to KSQM-FM community radio in Serenity Square, formerly known as Kite Girl Plaza.

Joining Serenity House’s Sequim Housing Resource Center at the depot will be the Clallam County Women Infant and Child — or WIC— nutritional program, First Step Family Support Center and Forks Abuse Program’s Crime Victims Advocacy service.

Also on the Shelter Providers agenda are reports on upcoming events, services, housing, legislation and funding issues.

At 10:30 a.m., the meeting will adjourn to a training for users of the Homeless Management Information System.

Shelter Providers meetings are open to anyone interested in ending homelessness in the community.
