THIS WEEK'S NORTH Olympic Peninsula business meetings (all are open to the public):

Port Angeles Regional Chamber of Commerce — Twice-monthly ­luncheon meetings are held on the first and third Mondays at noon in the second-floor meeting room of the Red Lion Hotel, 221 N. Lincoln St.

This Monday's luncheon program will focus on Olympic Medical Center's program for comprehensive and locally based cancer care.

The speaker will be Dr. Rena Zimmerman, medical director of radiation oncology for the Olympic Medical Cancer Center in Sequim.

Tickets for the luncheon are $15 and can be purchased from the meeting room cashier.

For those not having lunch, there is a $3 participation fee that includes a beverage.

Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce — Weekly ­luncheon meetings are held Mondays at noon at the Port Townsend Elks Lodge, 555 Otto St.

This Monday's featured speaker will be Janette Force, executive director of the Port Townsend Film Festival.

The meeting sponsor will be Union Bank. Lunch at $8 will be served by Subway.

Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce — Twice-monthly luncheon meetings are held at 11:45 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at noon at SunLand Golf & Country Club, 109 Hilltop Drive, Sequim.

The featured speaker this Tuesday will be Charles Brandt, director of the coastal sciences division of the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, including the Marine Sciences Laboratory on Sequim Bay.

The meeting sponsor will be the American Cancer Society.

Reservations for lunch closed Friday, but seats are available for those who are not having lunch. Coffee or tea is $3.

Port Angeles Business Association — Breakfast meetings are Tuesdays at 7:30 a.m. at Joshua's Restaurant, 113 ­DelGuzzi Drive, Port Angeles.

The scheduled speaker for this Tuesday's meeting is state Sen. Jim Hargrove, D-Hoquiam, one of the three state legislators representing North Olympic Peninsula residents in Olympia.

There is a $3 minimum charge by Joshua's for those who do not order breakfast.
